Lake Washington School District (LWSD) will accept applications for Highly Capable programs from October 1 until 4 p.m. on October 26, 2018. Any student can apply/be recommended for Highly Capable programs each year. Students must live in Lake Washington School District to apply. Parents of first-grade students attending LWSD schools should not apply during this application period. LWSD first-grade students are screened for Highly Capable Programs in November in their general education classroom. Information nights are available for families each fall.
